IACP offers new free services to U.S. law enforcement agencies to enhance responses to victims of crime. The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is offering free technical assistance to U.S. law enforcement agencies interested in enhancing their response to victims of crime. The services are tailored to the specific needs of individual agencies and include such services as on-site visits to build or enhance victim service programs, regional training to address the needs of different populations and types of victimization and identification of and connection to local resources. Continuous technical support is available via electronic or telephone communication. Interested law enforcement agencies can apply for the services by downloading an application off of the association's web site.
